Vegetarians beware: You may want to skip this post (for a veggie-friendly shoot, click here). For all you meat lovers, enjoy these photos from a recent shoot for JBS. We spent the day with some huge steaks, even huger knives, great people, and TONS of tasty samples. Marketing director Sam, in a fabulous Aussie accent, taught us what makes a good steak – and Kira went to town with her food-styling skills. At the end of the day, Nate and I photographed Chef Tony Seta, a great guy who dug up some great props, including a very lifelike rubber chicken. After all of it I went home and ate a GIANT hamburger… mmm hmmm.

Chef Tony Seta and the Amazing Rubber Chicken

Yesterday we got to spend the day creating new images for Harmony Valley.  Most of our previous work with their product has been to create images on white backgrounds for packaging and brochures, and so we were exited to get to go for a lifestyle feel for this photo shoot which will be for their new website and viral campaigning.   Their vegetarian meat-alternative is delish and now available at Whole Foods. I love when we use it to make meat-sauce for baked ziti.  You’ll notice we even got to use our 10 month son, Jude to stop by the set for the “kids” shots and he seemed to enjoy playing a very convincing “baby eating fruit #2″

STUFT Burger Bar

The opening of STUFT Burger Bar

This week we got to team up with Jake Fitzsimmons to creat advertising images for his new venture: the STUFT Burger Bar in Old Town Fort Collins.  After two days of creating photos for his website and print ads, Jake invited Kira, myself and Jude to come sample the goods and I can say with confidence they whipped up a burger that easily made it into my top 3 list of best burger ever.  The have a create your own menu (sushi style, if you will) that lets you come up with all sorts of delish creations.  I had mine come with green chili, a fried egg on top and pepper jack and I’m still dreaming about it.

Even though STUFT caters to the bar scene night-life,  it is the only dinner restaurant in Old Town that’s a pleasure to take our 7 month old to.

Well, I got hungry again just thinking about it. Seriously, check it out and scope out tons of Harper Point artwork already on display inside.

Today Kira and I had a fun full day shoot at Custom Blending to create delicious images for their ingredient packaging, soon to be on a shelf in a grocery store near you. Check our more of our photos of their creations at http://www.customblending.com/ and also http://www.rodellevanilla.com/.
